Last week Jason had a day off (just one day... Tuesday) due to a Labor Strike. Apparently that happens here randomly but only for a day at a time. I don't see how that can get the point across, but what do I know? He also had Friday off due to a holiday but he went into the refinery for awhile on Saturday to get caught up. I'm in a routine now and that totally messed with it. We tried to get out to find something for lunch on the Tuesday of the Labor Strike..but everything was closed. Even street people that sell random things were no where to be found. Apparently they were striking against labor unions as well. Only a few tuk-tuks were out but it was actually nice walking around. We ended up eating at the hotel because nothing was open anyway.

Yesterday I realized I hadn't taken any pictures in a few days and had no idea what I was going to blog about.... but then Kat and I got in a tuk-tuk to go to the mall. It's not a good picture at all, but it was our trip to the mall.
Looking outside today, you'd think it was still monsoon season when it was supposed to have ended last month and not pick up again until October. It's strange.. it's not like the rain settles in the for the day, either. It comes in waves and downpours... will clear up for a few mins, then we can see it moving back in and within a few mins, another downpour. That is what is doing right now as I type. I actually moved over to the little seat they call a couch to be closer to the window and watch the rain. Yeah, It's that entertaining (or I'm just that bored).

I should have a more interesting post after this weekend so for all of you avid blog readers, I apologize for the terrible, uneventful post today. We're here for so long you won't want me to update daily!

I knew you would lose your will to post! I never have anything to write about anymore. India's such a bummer.
