| Rai Leh Beach, Krabi |
....and we made it to Krabi! This could quite possibly be Paradise. Krabi consists of over 150 islands surrounded by towering limestone formations. There are lagoons, caves, waterfalls and beaches all within a boat ride. Monday we spent the day on the beach thinking about what we wanted to do for the rest of the week and getting some sun. After a few days of travel, what else is a girl to do? Many beaches in Krabi are only accessible by boat so development is at a minimum on the islands. First we went to Rai Leh beach to soak up the sun and forget about the fact that we would eventually have to go back to India.

All along this beach were teensy, tiny crabs. If you didn't look hard enough, you'd miss them! However, you cannot miss all those little balls and small holes they make. The crabs roll themselves into balls, leave them and then hurry into a hole when someone is walking close by. I think that's what they do anyway....
What more do you need besides a beach, a good foot scrub and pedicure and a beer? For just a few dollars, we all got foot scrubs and (two of the girls got) pedicures right there on the beach. All these women were constantly coming up to us asking if we wanted to utilize any of their spa services and we finally gave in. For about $6, who could pass that up?
