Do those of you living in Chi-Town hate that saying? I might be annoying people for using that slang term. For those that don't know, we're in Chicago. We were back for about 2 weeks, went home for Memorial Day weekend and are back again. I didn't update because we didn't do a lot. We did go canoeing with some friends on the Fox River. That was fun....but some people lost some items (flip flop, sunglasses, bottle opener...). I won't name any names. Jignesh ....
I've also been hanging out with other "roadwives" while back. We went shopping a few days and even went to Navy Pier for a day to walk around because it was beautiful outside. This is a picture of Lake Michigan from Navy Pier.
Memorial Day Weekend was packed full of family things at home. We drove back up on Tuesday and I've filled in at work the last few days so we've stayed busy. I gave a few people at work my blog address so I thought it was necessary that I update it, although we haven't done much. Oh...and our friend, David gave me a hard time for not updating it. Woah.. I didn't know people actually looked at this on a regular basis without me saying "well, look at my blog!" Anyway, we are actually planning on leaving on Sunday for Australia! Yes, that's the plan as of now. I'm very pumped about it. I just hope I can get upgraded to Business Class (upper deck) on the flight with Jason rather than a 14.5 hr flight in Economy by myself. I'm not complaining, but it would be nice to stretch out my legs and have a cocktail on the upper deck of the plane and then sleep most of the flight. I'm already imagining it : )
