What a day, mate!
I have to make this rather short, or just type fast because we have plans in about 20 minutes. I'll try my best to fill you in on our days adventures. We basically just booked things for the rest of the weekend and did a walking tour of the city. We only got through about half of it because we slept in. It was nice not having to wake up to the 6:00am alarm for Jason to go to work. We walked by the Sydney Opera House, across the Sydney Harbor Bridge and went to Chinatown. We passed other random buildings along the way, but I won't bore you with all that knowledge.
We did manage to come across a hole-in-the-wall pub, Fortune of War, that looked like a nice place to get lunch. It turned out to be even better because we caught the last 11.7 seconds of the NBA Finals. Not like we care that much but I think it makes the story even better. Wait... it's actually makes the story better to know that we got lunch for $5 a plate. They were closing tomorrow for renovation and everything was discounted. It was the oldest pub in Sydney - started in 1828 and basically in this little, old walkway of other old buildings. If we weren't hungry, we would have missed it.
