and We're Back!

Hello California sunshine...again! Jason and I made it to Pleasant Hill, California last night. I don't know what was going on with United at Ohare yesterday..but it was a mess! Our flight was supposed to leave at 5:40 and we ended up not leaving until 8pm due to plane problems and we ended up on a smaller airplane and they had to check our seat assignments twice - which means standing in a single file line for the attendant to check everyones! Our friends flight was canceled due to a shortage of staff... oh the joys of flying! Anyway..do I need to say that it's about 50 degrees (high of 61 tomorrow) here or will that make all of you mad that are back in the midwest getting ready to get snow? Okay, I won't tell you how the weather is out here..

We always thought that we wouldn't want to go back to the same location twice, but it's actually kind of nice. We're only here for about a week and half, but I could stay longer. Last year, we got spoiled and didn't see any snow (except for the very light dusting in March in Chicago) and there was plenty of snow on the ground in Chicago this past weekend. That makes me want to move somewhere warm and stay. A few other people are headed out here this week as well. Meagan will be joining us again too! ( her blog - to the side... Meagan on the Move)
