Yesterday, Ryan, Beth and I went to explore Sonoma County Wineries. Ryan and Beth are working at a different refinery than Jason, but staying at the same hotel. They had the day off and Jason was getting caught up on reports and watching football... so, watch football all day or wine taste all day? Easy decision. Sonoma wineries were much better than Napa. Those in Napa seemed too commercialized. Sonoma was more laid back, quiet and had cheaper tastings. We went to four wineries and even got to sample olive oil. At Paradise Ridge Winery, where this picture was taken, the lady that helped us was a lot of fun and informative. I asked her to take our picture - and she poured us a little more wine "just for the picture".
