Hill Palace
Jason, John and I joined Denise and Justine for a tour of the Hill Palace Sunday afternoon. The Hill Palace is the largest archeological museum in Kerala and was once home to the administrative offices of the Kochi Rajas. It was built in 1865, has 49 buildings and covered 54 acres. In 1980, it was handed over to the government from the Cochin Royal Family and is now a museum that contains many items from the family including jewelery, furniture, painting and old buggys. Cameras were not allowed inside...so you just get pictures from outside. We went in the museum in two groups so we could hold each others bags and not have to keep them at the desk ......so Jason and I walked around the grounds first.

pretty flowers :)
That's a huge birdhouse. We took this picture for Jason's mom since she just got a big birdhouse for their backyard. Do you want one this size next year?

I believe he said "Welcome to my home" - He even turned his hat backwards for this photo...he doesn't wear it like that, I promise!
Jason got upset at me for wrecking the car...

HAHAH
Love the picture of John and his ladies! Also, you must have wrecked that car about 30 years ago...doesn't look like it's moved much since then!
