| I promise there is lettuce in there - I just prefer the veggies |
I really wish we could cook our own food. That's probably in my top 3 things I miss about home. We have a mini fridge and small water heater for tea or soup. That's it. We might be in a nice hotel, but it's not set up for extended stay guests. I *finally* found some half way decent lettuce although I have no idea what kind it is, and some light salad dressing. Got a few fresh vegetables from the store and the breakfast lounge and put together a salad for lunch. I was really tired of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Those who know me well know that I don't even like them, but hey...my options are limited around here. For all of you at home.... cook a scrumptious meal tonight.....(and again for us when we get back)!

It is a nice change to be able to cook. And I LOVE PB&J's! (london will not eat them WEIRD KID). You know will an iron you can make toasted sandwiches. And with a the boiling tea pots you can boil noodles and warm sauces to make pasta....just saying there are some very creative ways to eat out of a hotel! :D
haha, I know the creative ways and I have fixed noodles in the tea pot before, but since I LOOOVE pasta, I try not to so I don't get in that habit! I've never tried the iron toasted cheese, but I might have to! I just wish we had a microwave!
yeah we have a kitchen, but no microwave....i'm going old school and stove top warming things...actually not that bad!
Oh yes I have made MANY ham/cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches on the iron. My room mate in college would make really good mozzarella cheese, chicken and tomato grilled sandwiches on it! (the trick is thin cheese!)
Did I make the top three on things you miss? The way I see it, you missing cooking, the dog with no brain, and me!
haha.. you wish you made the top 3!
