A group of us wanted to get away again this weekend, so the closest place we knew that we'd have fun and get to enjoy the beach was Varkala. This time, we had Jaroslav (one of Jasons crew members), John and another John (a long stay guest here at the hotel) joining Peter, Kat, Jason and I. We decided to leave bright and early...actually it wasn't bright yet.... at 5am Saturday. That was also the time Purdue was playing. Due to no internet at work, Jason has a Tata Photon for wireless. The connection wasn't that good, but he logged on a few times just to check the score. Of course he also wore his Purdue hat and basketball t-shirt!

| Gotta watch some of the game |
Since I'm limited going to where my crutches can take me, I took it easy up on the cliff Saturday. We spent some of the afternoon going to a few shops (I didn't make it many before having to rest) and then everyone else went to the beach while I went back to the hotel, took a nap and propped my foot up. I wasn't brave enough to battle the 40+ stairs going down to the beach and I got pretty tired after taking about 20 steps. I promise you..if you want a good arm workout, just buy crutches. I went to bed feeling like I had the worse flu ever. Every.Single.Muscle. in my body hurt from trying to hobble around and shop and act like I could still do everything.

| I did stop for an anti-inflammatory drink! It was actually really good :) I don't think it helped though. |
Before calling it a night, I had Jason take a sunset picture.......
