Saying Goodbye....

Since we have no idea when we are leaving, Kat and I had to say goodbye to the kids today.  The vocational unit is closed until June and the little ones don't come back until June either.  Although we're still going in next week to help Neena so we're not sure who is showing up.  But..... today was the last day for most of them.  I did better than I thought I would!  I only got teary eyed once when I was holding Ijo knowing that I may never get to hold him or see his sweet face again.  I was talking to his mother and she asked for my email and if she could find me on Facebook to keep in touch!  I was teasing Ijo saying that now I have a way to keep tabs on him! :)  He smiled at that!

We had story time this morning featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar and then celebrated Guyatri's 2nd birthday!  A good way to end the school year :)

..of course Annmol wanted every piece of candy to herself  - she IS into everything!

I promise she was happy!  Just too much going on... Kat wanted a hug, I wanted a picture, she was saying bye and she still had some lunch in her mouth to finish.  haha.  It was an emotional morning, but a good one!  I can't imagine being a full time teacher and then having to leave and never seeing the kids again.  I told Jason that maybe I was a special needs teacher in a previous life...

I'm not sure they got it that it was our last day with them...but of course they wanted a photo!

Who knows if we'll be here in June.  I'm secretly hoping we are...I bet you can guess why!
