| Yummmm |
The Kochi Tuskers team arrived back to the hotel today after winning a match in Mumbai on Friday evening. We knew they were arriving today and just happen to come back right before they got in. We dropped our stuff in the room and came down.... with my camera, of course! It's always fun to get in the spirit and support the local team. They had an elephant all decked out in the festival gear and the drums and horns. I mean, it's not a true celebration without the elephant and the horns! We've been talking to one of the managers about getting some tickets to Monday's match so hopefully it'll work out. If not, we've met the physio therapist for the team and he also mentioned to let him know if we wanted to see a match. He noticed I was limping - not bad, but just slightly - and struck up a conversation after asking why. He seems really nice and offered to do some therapy with me in the gym to get my strength and full range of motion back in my foot. Part of the team is staying here at the hotel until the IPL is over and when they have an away game, only the main players with a few extras go. There are always cricket players hanging around.... now only if we knew all their names!
