Wine and Tapas in INDIA??

You read the title right...thanks to John C, we now know of a place to go for good wine and tapas!  For about an hour and a half, we forgot we were in India.  Then the air conditioning wasn't working that good and we started to get hot and realized we were still in India.  The menu included 5 small glasses of wine and 5 tapas per person and was worth every.single.rupee.

The menu!

Jason, John, Ian and I enjoyed the afternoon in Fort Kochi at the Wine and Tapas and then we went to hang out at one of the bar and restaurants right on the water.  It was entertaining as we saw an assortment of things floating down the backwaters....  We would stop mid sentence just to look and try to guess what was floating along...see below....

Up first.....

the stomach of an animal.

And then a toilet seat....

...and the intestine of an animal.  There is also something else floating around but I'll let you try to figure out what it is! ;)

There were also some feathers and a few chicken feet so someone must have been dumping "extras" up stream.  What a nice atmosphere!  It didn't last long (except for the intestine that got stuck on something underwater and just floated in the same spot the entire time.

Here dirty birdy, birdy!

Oh man, that looks amazing - the food, I mean, not the dead animal parts floating down the river. I need to find a good wine place around here! Glad to see you guys are still doing well in India :)
