Furry Friends

I really miss my puppies at home so every single day I go and check on the baby bunnies outside.  Sad, isn't it?  I don't know.. just something to do and they are cute. One of the smaller ones got taken (the hotel doesn't know by who) and one of the full grown rabbits died last week.  We actually found it by the tree.. poor thing.  So rabbit count is now: 4 baby bunnies and 2 grown rabbits.

This evening we also went to try out the new Bubble Cafe at our former home, the Taj Gateway.  They started demolishing it last September and we were told it'd take 4-5 months.  It just did open last week and Jaroslav had said he's been missing pork chops so we knew where he could find some.  We got there a bit early for dinner, so we headed up to the bar.  Strike 1 - the results from the election months ago were in so therefore a dry day (only until 5pm, but all day for the Taj).  We decided to just go down to the restaurant then.  Some people wanted the buffet - Strike 2 - they no longer served the buffet for dinner.  Okay.. no big deal.  The brought us the menus and of course Jaroslav and someone else wanted the pork chops... Strike 3.  No porkchops.  Have I mentioned that India can get away with having a menu full of stuff they don't actually have?

The new restaurant looks 100% better than it did before the renovation.  We were pleasantly surprised.  I think they wanted us to come back, but we did realize how much better the Le Meridien is.  They should have thought about that before they started giving us a hard time about the room rates and availability!
