It's about that time..

I needed a haircut - bad.  It'd be almost 9 months and the ends were starting to get a bit shaggy although you couldn't really tell because it's so hot and humid here, I always wear my hair up anyway.  Besides that fact... for the health of my hair, I thought I'd get a bit chopped off.  We didn't go to the school today because Kat and I went to one of the ladies houses for lunch.  It was nice, but they mainly talked back and forth between themselves a lot.  We chimed in sometimes and they would even ask us questions, but most of the time, I felt like Kat and I were just moving our heads from right to left and repeated that numerous times during the luncheon.  One main topic:  Osama bin Ladan.  One of the ladies made it clear that the US shouldn't have killed him and just captured him and then let him talk to the families of people he's killed.  REALLY?  Wake up and smell the coffee, lady.  That ain't happening.  I'm not one to voice my opinion on political matters and I don't plan to break that now...but he was the worlds most wanted man who fired back at our soldiers.  Enough said.  So besides that topic, we did chat about other things...nothing of real concern.  It was a nice, traditional Indian lunch with a side of chicken nuggets in case the food was too spicy for us.  Neither Kat nor I wanted the chicken nuggets, but we were forced to take a few because we are Westerners.

After lunch... I came back to the hotel to get my hair trimmed at the "La Vogue Unisex Salon" in the shopping center of the hotel.  It cost me $12 - about $9 more than it should have in India, but I didn't have to leave the hotel.  She asked if I wanted it straightened and of course I said yes.  She only had a blow dryer and....  this is what it looked like when I was done which they said was a good look for me:

Not a good look... It would just get frizzier and frizzier.  I'm not sure why I'm smiling...  I like the cut, not the style.  Here's after I straightened it:

Sorry the light is in the way and I'm sorry this is my post for the day.  I didn't want to take a photo at Sally's house because well... I just didn't.
